Summer Skies
Rainbow-coloured kites, worked in solid and overdyed stranded cottons, and metallic threadsd, using a variety of counted thread stitches, drift across clouds of Pulled and Drawn Thread Work and soft silk Hardanger Embroidery. Tiny Cross Stitch butterflies and a bird-shaped charm complete this summery scene. Design size 4" x 8.5" when stitched on 28ct fabric.
