Dorothy's Pink Flamingos
A flock of flamingos, cross stitched over one in a beautiful overdyed thread are the focal point of this design, created for my friend Dorothy, which also incorporates drawn thread embroidery, Hardanger and various speciality stitches. Blackwork (pinkwork?) feathers sparkle with Swarovski crystals and petite gold beads and metallic thread add further lustre. Design size 2.75" x 9.5" when stitched on 28ct fabric
